Children March to help fight cystic fibrosis

On October 29th, 2004, children enrolled at Little Wings Childcare & Learning
Center participated in the Halloween Mini-March to raise funds for the
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This years marks the 5th year that Little
Wings has hosted the Halloween Mini-March. In the past 5 years, the
march has raised over $4800.00 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
The children spent the week prior to the event learning about Cystic Fibrosis
through songs and stories provided by the CF Foundation.
Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease affecting 30,000 children and adults
in the United States. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundatin assures the development
of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality
of life for those with the disease.
